In this article were presented the most frequently use spectroscopy methods for marking the content of elements and ions in solids and liquids. There were discussed the advantages and disadvantages of every method as well as the way of conducting analysis. There was also presented the procedure of preparing samples for analysis. The examplary results of elements indication on the emission spectroscope ICP-OES were introduced in the second part of this paper. These results were compared to the results of the analysis of the reference material. It was certified that both results corresponds to one another which proves the high level precision of chosen spectroscopy method
