The present paper investigates two editions of Cosmographicus liber, one of the most recognized and widely disseminated work by the German humanist Petrus Apianus (1495-1552), which addresses topics like astronomy and world geography. The paper analyzes the first edition printed in 1524 in the German town of Landshut as well as a Spanish translation, published in Antwerp in 1548, which includes certain additions and corrections that were made by the Dutch scholar Gemma Frisius (1508-1555) to the original text.
