One of the most remarkable features of women's writing is a direct way to question the hegemonic discourses, criticize and reinterpret the traditional Latin American culture. Voices that emerge from the silence to draw new discursive maps for the reconstruction of memory and fiction, which also means a language of its own, a space of liberation, recognition and redefinition. This article follows the development of this writing over an intense process of fundamental moments of the literature written by women in Latin America
