In order to compare different methods of calculating evapotranspiration reference (ET0) with the standard method of FAO Penman-Monteith 56, it was used daily weather in Weather Station Pe Ricardo Remetter, installed in Experimental Farm of the Federal University of Mato Grosso, for the seasons of 2006. The methods of Penman and Hargreaveas-Samani, proved adequate to estimate ET0 in all seasons of the year when compared to the standard method of Penman-Monteith-FAO 56. The method of Class A pan has not submitted satisfactory adjustments to estimate ET0 compared to the method of Penman-Monteith-FAO 56.
