To characterize the scientific profile of the Electronic Journal of Biomedicine between 2003 and 2012. Method. Bibliometric descriptive study. Authors reviewed all published articles to describe the Journal profiles in term of number of authors, gender, country, type of publication, institution, number of comments made to the article, language and the existence of collaboration. The publication rate for 10,000 doctors and 100,000 inhabitants were estimated. Results. From 2003 to 2012, 305 articles to 1081 authors came from 25 countries were published.
