<p><em>Purpose: The purpose of this paper is to explore innovation oriented behavior of managers in Macedonian organizations. </em></p> <p><em>Design/methodology/approach: Research instrument in a form of a questionnaire was used to obtain data about innovation oriented behavior of managers.</em></p> <p><em>Findings: The results from the study will help managers to pursuit innovation within the organizations borders and enhance corporate entrepreneurship in order to gain competitive advantage. </em></p> <p><em>Research limitations/implications: There is a literature gap in the area of studies exploring innovativeness and behavior of managers in Macedonia.
