The Brazil at the foot of the cross: notes on the political representation of pentecostals and neo-pentecostals

The purpose of the article is to discuss ways of building the political representation of this sector in Brazil. The text is divided into two sections. In the first section, we seek to develop the argument based on some questions, they are: What are the reasons and under what circumstances are built speech that the Pentecostals and neoPentecostals must be represented in institutional policy? How can we understand the political authorization process in this environment? The faithful/voters thoughtlessly obey the directives of their denominations as to which candidate to support, or are there other variables to be analyzed? In the second section, try to understand how this segment prepares its representation model and what strategies are mobilized for execution. Similarly, at the end of this section, we reflect on the problems between representative and represented, along with the dangers of Brazilian democracy that this representation model can generate
