In the conditions of Gaussian noise, symmetric alpha stable impulse noise, multipath propagation, Doppler effect, and so on, a joint synchronization algorithm is proposed for underwater acoustic communication system based on fractional Fourier transform orthogonal frequency division multiplexing.
