I mandate government Lula da Silva / PT (2003-2006) and sports policies: deepening the neoliberal project

He aim of this paper is to discuss the actions of the Ministry of Sports in I Mandate Government Lula da Silva / PT (2003-2006). This time frame is justified by this mandate have been considered as a moment of internal disputes about the government's direction and expectations of the PT in power could represent a coping perspective of Brazilian bourgeois logic. We will show that these expectations have not been realized and that the programmatic adherence to the neoliberal project was present in programs and pronouncements of its leaders.
