The objective of this study was to describe the use of authentic assessment by tenth grade Biology teachers of state senior high school in Tangerang Selatan. This study was carried out in the first half year of 2014/2015, started from October to December 2014. The survey method was used in this study. The technique of sampling was purposive sampling. The samples were: SMAN 3, SMAN 5, SMAN 9, and SMAN 11 Tangerang Selatan. We used non-test instruments which consisted of authentic assessment checklist sheet, teaching observation sheet, and questionnaire.
