The functional properties of the polystyrene based Nickel Molybdate composite membrane prepared by applying 70 MPa pressure are described. The fabricated membrane was characterized by using Fourier Transform Infrared, X-ray diffraction, particle size analyzer and Scanning electron microscopy technique and has been investigated for its functional, diffusive, electrochemical and electrical properties. The impedance data of membrane having capacitive and resistive components are plotted, which show the sequence of semicircles representing an electrical phenomenon due to grain material, grain boundary and interfacial phenomenon.
