SOME SPECIFIC FEATURES OF All-RUSSIAN ADVERBS IN DIALECTS

<p>The paper analyses the semantic structure of 785 monosemantic and polysemantic adverbs of “how”-questions, which have some similarity of their expression in the modern Russian language and Arkhangelsk dialects. The typology of meaning relations of all-Russian adverbs is formed on the basis of word-semantic comparison in two subsystems of the Russian language. Semantic specific of the word-structure, types of word-relations (coincidence or convergence of meanings), the grade of meaning coincidence (full, partial or asymmetrical) and the proportionality of meaning coincidence are taken into account. 14% of adverbs in these subsystems have absolute semantic identity, 28% of words are lexical homonyms in these two subsystems of the Russian language. Another part of common Russian adverbs has semantic differences in the compared subsystems, which are the results of meaning generalization and specification of meanings. In the case of meaning generalization the cause of widening of the semantic structure of a word in the dialect subsystem is an additional inner-conceptual differentiation, motivated by the peculiarity of dividing the extra linguistic reality in the speech of a dialect speaker, and the existence of extra linguistic facts and processes with common or similar features, uniting one conception. In the case of specifications of meanings there is a specification of a all-Russian word, explaining the lack of the extremely generalized meaning of an adverb.
