<p>Splenomegaly, increased splenic blood flow are the specific characteristics of the natural course of cirrhosis. But an importance of these alienations is inadequately appreciated when choosing methods of correction the portal hypertensia syndrome.</p><p><strong>Aim of the study</strong>. To assess the splenic blood flow in patients with compensated and decompensated course of cirrhosis.</p><p><strong>Materials and methods.</strong>190 patients with cirrhosis were under surveillance: 123 had the gastrointestinal bleeding, 67 – the refractory ascites. 84 patients died during surveillance.
