The special features of prehospital stage of medical care of patients with combined orthopedic trauma in countryside conditions

<p>An emergency care is one of the most important links of the unite system of medical care rendering in our country. It is reliably known that exist the direct dependency between traumatic injuries clinical course and timely arrival of medical worker and generally duration of prehospital period.</p><p><strong>Methods</strong><strong>.</strong> There were retrospectively studied the special features of emergency medical care rendering at prehostital stage to 76 patients with combined orthopedic trauma in countryside conditions.</p><p><strong>Results</strong><strong>.</strong> There was established that the mean time between the receiving a call by operator and arrival of emergency to the patient in the countryside is (23,2±1,81) min, and the mean duration of prehospital stage is (74,45±4,13) min. The ratio of calls that exceeded an established time – 23,68 %.</p><p>The most patients were delivered in medical institution during the first hour. The state of patients dynamically worsened with an increase of prehospital period duration.</p><p><strong>Conclusions</strong><strong>.</strong> The distance to patient and unsatisfactory state of road carpet are the main causes of untimely arrival of emergency workers.</p><p>The criterion of emergency care effectiveness is not only the duration of prehospital stage but also an adequacy of the medically-diagnostic measures.</p><p>The shock injuries or its combinations need the prophylactic therapy despite the consciousness level and hemodynamic parameters of patient<em></em>
