Abstract In order to characterize the organizational culture of an institution of higher education located in the city of Bogotá, this descriptive research implemented a mixed methodology using the techniques of qualitative data collection in focus groups and a quantitative technique by designing and building Organizational Culture Scale University (ECOU). We had the participation of 336 employees with an age range between 20 and 65 who were chosen by a stratified sampling guided by purpose. Subsequently, we performed an integrated analysis of the data using SPSS software and “Atlas ti”.
