Background & Aims of the Study: Oxidative stress increases platelet-derived growth factor (PDGF) gene expression in endothelial cells that contributes to vascular dysfunction and atherosclerosis. Oxidative stress generates by dys-regulated redox balance between ROS producing systems and antioxidant systems.
