<p>A new species, <em>Umairia</em> <em>chidambaramensis</em> Manickavasagam & Ayyamperumal, is described from Tamil Nadu, India. A key to the known species of <em>Umairia </em>Hayat is given, and additional distribution records of 10 species of aphelinids from India are also reported.</p><div> </div
