Anaesthetic implications of antiphospholipid antibody syndrome in pregnancy

Antiphospholipid antibody syndrome is an autoimmune disorder characterized by venous and/or arterial thromboses. When present in women of reproductive age, it is associated with recurrent loss of pregnancy.
