The cardan joint mechanism enables the transmission of the rotation movement between two shaft trees which form a constant or variable angle in time. This the mechanism is of the third family , as a consequence, multiple statically indeterminate and for calculating the reactions from the kinematic pairs it is applied the elastic linear calculation using the relative displacements method noted in plücker coordinates.
