Firstly, the paper presents the advantages of using benchmarking in modern organizations, with direct involvement in management processes and relations. We even stipulate the appearance in the future of a “relationship benchmarking”, destined to improve organizational relations. Secondly, the paper tries to convince that an efficient benchmarking has a cyclic structure. To improve the quality of its products, processes and relations, any organization activating in any domain must participate in this cycle. It is the shortest way to the performance in the knowledge economy
