This paper aims to establish the mental health conditions prevalent in 20 displaced persons (36 families) resettled in the Municipality of Cairo - Valley in 2008, for it is used, self-applied scale for measuring the Zung Depression and Conde The mood disorder questionnaire (MDQ), and Davidson Trauma Scale (DTS) which makes the symptoms of posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD). The results showed the presence of mild depression (20%), moderate (60%)“higher in women”, and major depression (30%), with a gender relationship in 2 women for every man.
