Actuality of the given material is specified by the fact that the process of adopting tests as the main means of knowledge control is going on inUkraine. The article is dedicated to the theoretical and practical aspects of creating tests designated for determining levels of professional training. The article examines basic elements of the process of creating tests and test project following which gives the framework for creating reliable means of control.
