MILITANTES Y ESTADO Activists and State

This paper presents results on youth share in Peronist political organizations in the city of La Plata, Capital of the Province of Buenos Aires, Argentina, during the second term of President Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner (from 2011 to 2015). It presents some new elements to think the articulation of notions about the State and the State bureaucracy and its relationship to the everyday practice of youth’s political activism, focusing on the subject and different political practices that circulate around the State as articulating element of politics. This paper is divided into two stages: the first one is about some representations that young activists have themselves of what the State itself is, and which should be its functions in relation to the world of politics; the second one consists of an analysis of the practices of young activists that appear in State management through the interpretations of young activists about themselves
