Erbium-doped fiber laser systems exhibit a large variety of complex dynamical behaviors, bifurcations and attractors. In this paper, the chaotic behavior which can be achieved under certain conditions in a laser system with erbium-doped fiber, is discussed. The chaos in this system occurs through several standard scenarios. In this paper, the simulation sequence of quasiperiodic, intermittent and period-doubling scenario transitions to chaos is shown.
