Seaweed is one of natural resource beneath the sea has many benefits. Its contain has potential to used as medicine in dentistry, one of which is anti-inflammatory. Inflammation is response that appears when trauma, infection and tissue injury occurs. Sulphated polysaccharide in brown algae can be inhibit diseases associated with inflammation. The purpose of this study is to identify anti-inflammatory effect of extract brown seaweed Sargassum sp. to mice.
