The British Council introduced the English for Education College Trainers (EfECT) Project in Myanmar. This program aims to improve the English language proficiency and teacher training methodologies of all state teacher trainers. Thus, the purpose of this study was to investigate teacher perceptions and attitudes towards this program. The methods used to collect the data were modified questionnaire, focus group discussions and class observation. Based on the findings, teachers reported that they had opportunities to interact with English speaking teachers, could practice their English skills and learned student-centered teaching methodologies.
