The Development Directions of Romanian Organic Farming in European Context

This article examines the evolution of the Romanian organic farming, after the accession to the European Union and the sources of funding of this agricultural system, as stipulated in the new Common Agricultural Policy.\ud \ud Research method consists of a qualitative and quantitative analysis of the main indicators of organic farming obtained both on the site of the Romanian Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, as well as from the data base of the European Commission (Eurostat). In addition, research was based on the studies and reports of the national and the European Union institutions, but also on the articles of the Romanian and foreign experts
