DC Power Flow method is widely used for active power flow analysis in deregulated power system. DC Power Flow model is a constant matrix, non-iterative model which is built into DC Optimal Power Flow model for market clearing and settlement of real power market. As of now, there are few papers available in DC Power Flow model for reactive power flow analysis .Hence, this paper introduces a pure Q market and proposes a new DC Q flow model (DCQF) which can be built into a DC Optimal Q flow model for market clearing and settlement of pure Q market.
