Values of young people and lifelong learning

The author of the article questions the relationship of young people in Slovenia with lifelong learning in connection with forming own objectives about life. What motivates young people to learn continuously? How do they set priorities? What kind of knowledge do they need to make the right decisions about their learning? How are the needs and motives for lifelong learning in younger adults connected with their values? Her research and thinking finds support in Lendgran's theory of permanent learning, establishes dominant values of young people and seeks connection with their willingness to engage in lifelong learning
