Capacity for transition from partnership to parenthood is one of the main topics in parenting support group called Najina pot. The present research addresses dyadic adjustment among partners during their decision to have children. The results indicate that the process of becoming a parent is linked with a number of children someone has, although levels of marital satisfaction change during parenthood period. The author discusses differences among partners, who manage to incorporate partnerhood into their relationship and partners, who do not succeed in this process and perceive the new coming child as a threat to the relationship
