In order to evaluate the effect of age of transplant and seeding rate used in transplanting on yield and yield components of rice cultivar Sazandegi, a two-year study (2007-2008) was carried out in Isfahan Agricultural Research Center (Fozve station) by using split plot randomized based on complete block design in three replications. Three transplant ages (25, 30, and 35 day) were assigned as main factor and four seeding rate (80,100,120, and 140 gr per transplant tray), were assigned made up of sub factor.
