Tourism as a theoretical discipline in the context of kinanthropology

Tourism and Kinanthropology often intertwine in the area of Leisure studies. This article describes the relationship of both disciplines and emphasizes their fundamental concepts. Sports tourism can be interpreted as a part of socio-cultural kinanthropology but there is even greater potential for the blending of both disciplines. A significant part of the article focuses on research in sport tourism. The author confronts her own approach with foreign literature
