Studying the frequency of injuries is in function of prevention. In this sense the injuries can be observed according to the time of their occurrence, the parts of body, place of occurrence, sources and causes. The concrete investigations were caried out to establish the frequency of injuries according to working hours in a shift at the stopes of the Middle—Bosnian coal mines (the paper is published in Croatian)
