THE NATURE OF THE MARITAL RELATIONSHIP AS A FACTOR OF UPBRINGING OF CHILDREN IN FAMILY

<p><strong>Purpose.</strong> The research is devoted to identify the relationship between character of the marital relationship and the features of the upbringing of children in the family.</p><p><strong>The novelty of the research</strong> lies in the fact that:</p><p>- Identified specific errors in the upbringing of children committed by parents, depending on the degree of satisfaction of the marriage;</p><p>- Empirically justified the relationship between dissatisfaction with marriage and the implementation of "inharmonious" features education.</p><p><strong>The theoretic-methodological basis</strong> of the study were: perceptions of sustainability and stability of marriage (C. Sysenko, C. Boyko), satisfaction with the marriage (А.Schawlow, E. Eidemiller, V. Ustecky) and its relation with representations of spouses on the distribution of family roles (I. Obozov, A. Obozova, N. Fedotov) and other.</p><p><strong>Research methods</strong>: theoretical analysis, interviews, observation, testing, psychological experiment, correlational analysis.</p><p><strong>Results</strong>. Empirical research has led us to the following main conclusions:</p><p>The spouses with low level of satisfaction with the marriage have the high level of indicators of disharmonic upbringing of children.</p><p>Identified a steady link between the level of satisfaction with the marriage and such indicators upbringing of children as "excessive requirements-duties", "lack of requirements-bans", "excessive sanctions", "instability of parenting style", "preference children's qualities", "educational uncertainty parent", "phobia of losing a child", "the projection on the child's own undesirable qualities" and "the imposition of conflict between the spouses in the sphere of upbringing".</p><p><strong>Practical implications. </strong>The results obtained can be used when building the complex work of the psychologist in family counseling.
