This anthology contains a potpourri of cultural scientific, or to phrase it more traditionally, folkloristic essays on the topic of travel. At first glance, there appears to be no consistent context or structural framework yet, on closer analysis, an outline emerges of the efforts made by cultural scientists to address the topic of Travel – Tourism – Travel Perceptions. From this standpoint, some of the essays are amusing, while others are more interesting because they provide more coherent insights. URN: urn:nbn:de:0114-fqs02049
