The overall objectives of the study was to develop, a course of study for mild and moderate mentally retarded.\ud \ud The strategy adopted in the study was experimental and design for null hypothesis were formulated and tested. Three null hypothesis were rejected and one was upheld. It was concluded that the experimental course of study was superior to the traditional course, the population of the study consisted of all the mild and moderate students in the special institutes of Karachi. Two samples were drawn randomly from the population. One sample was exposed to experimental treatment and the other sample was exposed to traditional course.
