The magneto-optical absorption spectroscopy experiments on thallium, copper and silver are presented. The experimental setup and the method of analysis. are described. The data were acquired utilizing the linearly polarized light emitted by the 2.5 GeV electron accelerator, a 6 Tesla superconducting magnet, and a 3-meter high dispersion spectrograph with the photographic detection.\ud \ud The magneto-optical absorption spectra of thallium were recorded in the wavelength range from 2020 A to 2090 A. Measurements of oscillator strengths (relative f-value) for the principal series of thallium\ud \ud 6s2 6p 2p1/2 → 6s2 nd 2D3/2 (12 ≤ n ≤ 24)\ud \ud 6s2 ns 2S ½ (14 ≤ n ≤ 23)\ud \ud are reported.
