SOCIAL-PEDAGOGICAL CONDITIONS OF FIRST-YEAR STUDENTS’ ADAPTATION

<p class="x-----------" xml:lang="en-US"><span class="char-style-override-1">Purpose:</span> to define social-pedagogical conditions of constructing both learning and educational process which is sure to provide first-year students’ effective adaptation to studying at high school.</p><p class="x-----------" xml:lang="en-US"><span class="char-style-override-1">Methodology of research realization: </span>both analysis and synthesis of scientific literature data concerning the research issue;<span class="char-style-override-1"> </span>surveillance, questionnaires, pedagogical diagnostics; generalization, systematization.</p><p class="x-----------" xml:lang="en-US"><span class="char-style-override-1">Results. </span>The carried out research has shown that the problem of first-year students’ adap-tation to educational process at high school should be solved in a complex. The research has given the possibility to highlight the following interrelated aspects of adaptation having an influence on the formation of students’ life self-determination: social-personal, individual-personal and educational-professional. The emphasized and proved social-pedagogical conditions (social-personal program of working with students; optional course «Study to study»; educational advising realization; the use of workbook taking into consideration the discipline specificity and consisting of exercises in accordance with adaptability principle and etc) allow to provide in a complex student’ social-personal, individual-personal and educational-professional adaptation to studying at high school.</p><p class="x-----------" xml:lang="en-US"><span class="char-style-override-1">Practical implications: </span>both theses and findings given in this work are sure to provide substantial effectiveness increase of<span class="char-style-override-1"> </span>first-year students’ learning–educational process in their adaptation period, and can be realized in practice of high school system as well as in the systems of both re-training and advanced training.
