O impacto da pneumónica em alguns concelhos do Alto Minho

Our analysis focuses on the flu pandemic that reached Portugal in 1918 and 1919.Although shortlived, it is recognized as the greatest epidemic of the 20th century. Our study aims to contribute to the evaluation of its impact on the population of the district of Viana do Castelo, establishing, where possible, a comparison with other districts already analyzed. We also intend to examine the measures taken by administrative and health authorities in providing assistance to the afflicted and in disease prevention
