ABSTRACT The Importance of spirituality development towards patients and their families lies in the fact that many of these patients are religious and would like such issue to be better approached in health care. Therefore, based on LILACS and MEDLINE databases, this study sought to identify, in modern literature, topics related to the importance of spirituality on vocational training from medical professionals graduated between 2006 and 2012. From a total of 23 analyzed articles, 7 were consistent and 16 were not related to the proposed objective in this study
