The Structuration Theory of the sociologist Anthony Giddens has been, over the past few years, used in several works on a wide range of subject areas and among them, highlights the organizational studies. Despite this extensive use, the Structuration Theory was the target of a lot of criticism and review, as done by Stones (2005), which resulted in the proposal of "Strong Structuration Theory".
