Compulsive buying behavior is characterized by an uncontrollable and irrational impulse that tends to manifest itself when individuals experience negative feelings. Despite being intensively researched, questions remain about what are drivers of compulsive shopping; especially in potentially vulnerable groups such as teenagers.
