<p><strong>Object: </strong>to evaluate the efficiency of prostate scintigraphy in the prebioptic diagnosis of prostate cancer (PC).</p><p><strong>Subjects and methods. </strong>Two hundred and two patients with suspected PC underwent comprehensive examination, including 99mTc-technetril prostate scintigraphy and a morphometric study of biopsy material columns.
