A 43 year-old female patient presented to the emergency department with complaints of suddenly beginning constant abdominal pain. Contrast enhanced abdominal tomography showed unexpectedly a foreign body in the proximal intestine and free air supporting microperforation adjacent to small bowel. Patient stating no history of swallowed foreign bodies in her detailed history was operated. A foreign object with bilateral sharp tip, longitudinally located, sized 3x35 mm in diameter was detected approximately 50 cm distal to the Treitz in exploration. Foreign body were removed without enterotomy. In this case, a preoperative CT and intraoperative image of the patient are presented.
