This article exposes a theoretical excursus of fundamental historical roots in the group-work, to underline the functionality in clinical practice with psychiatric patients and presents a project which is carried out in a therapeutic community of Rome. This project aims to present an opportunity to work in an integrated approach for the psycho-social rehabilitation of patients according to a vision based on art-group analysis
