This truck will soon leave the Baitang (Kampuchea) Plc factory to export its cargo of rice husk to Thailand, where it will be used as a biomass fuel. A few years ago, in the west of Cambodge, rice husk was a waste that rice millers had to pay farmers to come and pick up. Now, some is exported to Thailand. Rice husk has become an internationally traded commodity.
