International audienceThe formalism of Symbolic Gauge Theory (SGT) for the case of General Relativity (GR) has been proposed by R. Mignani, E. Pessa and G. Resconi (1997). This has enabled us not only to recover the usual Einstein theory, but to articulate a new theory of gravitation, characterized by its open nature. This theoretical framework is based on a few principles related to different orders of commutators between covariant derivatives. We show that the non-conservative Gravitational equations can be represented by a wave equation with particular source where the variables are symmetric and anti-symmetric gravitational connections.
