The article deals with the inventive activity of the Department of Lipid Biochemistry of the Palladin Institute of Biochemistry from 1980 until now. The researchers of the department headed by N.M.Hula have found lipids of unusual chemical structure in mouse neuroblastoma cells C1300 N18 such as N-acylethanolamine (NAE) as well as its precursor N-acylphosphatidylethanolamine (NAPE).
