This study presents a seismic isolation method that can provide protection for buildings against seismic actions, materialized in the use of system devices which operates on dry friction force. The isolation system device is analysed in terms of operating principle which is considered as passive type. These system devices can be mounted to the structure interposed between the foundation and superstructure, allowing freedom of relative movement between the two structural components
