In order to provide valuable information, prevention and protection of the population against the risk of flood we must have a reliable knowledge about it. That's why, the historian intervenes and leads an investigation in archives and with the various actors of the risk to reconstruct the history of past events. It consists in using these past experiences to protect the population better from harmful events which could arise today as tomorrow. We shall show all the importance of the historical research...
